Flameris a graphic novel that follows the story of a 14-year-old homosexual boy named Aiden as he navigates the challenges of adolescence during a summer at a Catholic boys' camp. Struggling with his identity, Aiden faces bullying, self-doubt, and confusion about his feelings for his friend Elias. As he contemplates his sexuality and tries to fit in, he must also confront his internalized shame and the toxic masculinity around him. Flamer  faces challenged and bans as it explores themes of self-acceptance, identity, friendship, and the struggles of growing up queer in an often hostile environment.
